Gifted Resource Teacher
My goal is to help every gifted child learn about their own unique talents, strengths, and traits. I like to ask students the question, "How ARE you smart?" rather than "How smart are you?" I believe every child is smart in their own way. Much of gifted education is spent on learning what those individual smarts are and working in those areas, while strenghtening all other areas too!
Students will spend their time in gifted education working on Problem-Based Learning lessons, FL Harvest of the Month, logic puzzles, and other varied thinking challenges and problems. They will also complete activities across the curriculum including Math, ELA (Reading and Writing), Science and Social Studies.
