WELCOME TO 3RD GRADE!

  QUICK TIPS TO HELP YOUR 3RD GRADER BE SUCCESSFUL:

  • Sign your child’s planner nightly.
  • Write how your child goes home, please.
  • Read AR nightly for at least 20 minutes.
  • Practice multiplication facts nightly.
  • Be on time to school daily. AR testing time happens mostly before 8:00.
  • Send a water bottle with your child’s name on it daily.

7:25 - 7:55 Breakfast and Morning Work 

 

7:55 - 9:35 ELA (Reading Block) 

 

9:35 - 9:55 Snack/ Writing

 

9:55 - 10:25 Intervention/Enrichment 

 

10:25 - 11:50 Math 

 

11:50 - 12:10 Social Emotional Learning 

 

12:10 - 12:35 Lunch 

 

12:35 - 12:55 Recess 

 

1:00 - 1:40 Specials 

 

1:40 - 2:10 Science/Social Studies

 

 

Third graders need 125 points to receive a trophy at the end of the year.

AR Celebrations:

Students must have 100% of their goal with 85% or higher accuracy to attend the parties. 

 

Math Facts Quiz:

They will be given 3 minutes to answer 50 multiplication problems on their level.

 

 

6 and 7 are sad and blue

they make the number 42.

they make the number 49. 

 

I ate and I ate till I got sick on the floor,

8 X 8 is 64. 

 

4 and 4 got in a car...
